The CITY MULTI S-Series makes use of a two-pipe refrigerant system. This allows the system to
changeover from cooling to heating, ensuring that a constant indoor climate is maintained in all zones.
Compact OCs utilize R410A refrigerant and an INVERTER-driven compressor to use energy effectively.
S-Series OCs come in 3-ton, 4-ton and 5-ton sizes with the ability to connect to up to 12 ICs.
• P36: up to 6 ICs
• P48: up to 8 ICs
• P60: up to 12 ICs
Having a connected capacity of greater than 100% means, you can have (for example) 6-tons of IC
capacity connected to a 5-ton OC. Not all ICs will be running at 100% capacity at a given time in each
installation location. There will never be more than 5-tons worth of cooling provided by the system.
